Sleepfire - Styles

Hey guys,

Below are 6 different styles, sorry Rich but you will be the guinea pig for this...

I have mainly done black and white styles as I think this is in keeping with the older grainer look we chatted about, I am happy to do some colour variations if you wish, however, I tend to think black and white looks cooler, unless its a live gig with lights etc.

So here goes..

The first one is the original as shot, no editing

Next is black and white with grain, slightly brighter and higher contrast (Grain image)

Next is black and white no grain, high contrast and darker shadows, with a slight increase to sharpness (High contrast image)

Next is opposite to the above, black and white no grain, low contrast, flatter image with reduced shadows, and a softer focus (Low contrast image)

Next is black and white with lots of grain for a vintage feel, contrast has been reduced to flatten the image, it is made lighter and the shadows have been reduced (Black and white vintage image)

Next is simply a sepia version of the above (Sepia vintage image)

Next is the only colour style, the contrast has been slightly increased and colours have been softened with reduced saturation I have also applied a slight green hue to give a colder image as the original is very warm and orange (muted colour image)

So let me know your thoughts....

I think you can add comments at the bottom of this, but if not, facebook is fine.

    1. Thanks. It has much better depth than the grainy versions. It is my favourite style.
